A few simple ingredients can make a very creamy, better-than-store-bought hummus that is so fantastic with vegetables, crackers, or bread. It also pairs well with pesto on a pita topped with cucumbers, tomatoes and avocado. Simply delightful!
Ingredients:
1 (15 oz ish) can chickpeas
3/4 of the liquid from the can
3 tbsp of lemon juice
4 tbsp tahini
1/2 to 3/4 tsp salt
1 clove garlic
3/4 tsp cumin
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender. Refrigerate.
